Thoughts on process

Beginning work on a new #fairytale. Just the act of pulling one out of the massive pile is a challenge. But once chosen, I begin to fall in love with it. Today I'm exploring - what slant best serves a modern mind? I feel grateful for the basic story but also want to nudge it, to dramatize more and to explore the complexity of the heroine.

(There is the art of making a script and a film. And there is another - the art of understanding what I'm doing and why.)
