The Skeleton Woman is an Inuit tale of a harrowing journey. The heroine is left for dead under the sea but is caught by a fisherman whose horror turns to compassion.  Some psychoanalysts interpret the tale for its healing messages.

This is a tale I want to visit with stop motion in the future.
