I studied Asian theatre forms in my grad school. Loved these amazing and powerful styles! 

Some viewers of my films have noted the influence -- seen in the stillness of postures and mask-like faces of the dolls.

Animals in fairy tales.

Our current film is the Grimm tale, The Two Travelers. In it many creatures help the hero (duck, stork, bee, horse) Here two crows offer guidance. Marie Louise Von Franz offers a wonderful analysis in "Shadow and Evil in Fairy Tales."

Therese is an experienced non union character actor with a warm, low, commanding voice. She loves creating characters and can convey a myriad of emotions. She specializes in strong female character and other wacky characters. with accents and voices of all kinds.

Kat also voiced the lead heroine in our film, The Split.  (Soon to be screened again, now in DC)


Kat Evans-- is a performing artist based in Chicago. Theatre highlights: City Lit: Emma’s Child (Jean), Thirteen Days (RFK), The Safe House (Bridgid), London Assurance (Grace) , Prometheus Bound (Io), and Hauptmann (Anne Morrow Lindberg).  Promethean: Gross Indecency: The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde. Black Button Eyes: Shockheaded Peter and Nightmares and Nightcaps. Musicals: Thespis (The Savoyaires), The Three Penny Opera (The Hypocrites) and Fanatical (American Demigods). Film: Lois Lane in The Fiendish Machinations of Lex Luthor (Underhanded), Amy in The Split (Homemade Cinema), and Erika Byrd in NONTRADITIONAL (Salonista). As a writer, Kat authored TRUTH KITTENS and SLAY BELLES for Starlight Radio Dreams and several episodes of the Daily Devo Show and Bible Builds for Yippee, a faith-based streaming service for kids. She is currently working on two-act history play about a Chicago heresy trial in 1874.
